The zucchini bread was off the hook! We tried the hot lavender latte with plant milk, iced coffee, and a few pastries. The staff was polite & friendly. Wait time was minimal & prices were fair. The only downside if any would be trying to find parking & sitting space on a busy day.
Our first time here. What an adorable ambiance! We tried the Iced Hawaiian Mocha (tasted like an almond joy candy bar) and Iced Milky Way, wow!!! They were both amazing. We also tried a warm dessert (the brown butter chocolate chunk) which is made on site and melts in your mouth wanting more...The employees were very sweet and helpful. I will be back to try other drinks for sure!
Having lived in Seattle, I can be particular about my espresso and coffee. However, Bakersfield Roasting Company is legit. They have the roasting machine right out in the open. Coffee is not bitter but smooth yet flavorful. I do prefer a bit of flavoring in my latte or cappuccino and they have quite the variety to choose from. Don’t forget to add a cookie for dipping too. Service is always welcoming and friendly. The ambiance isn’t anything special, just a cozy, family-owned spot.
A nice farmstyle coffee shop that is attached to the local Calvary Chapel building. We tried their Velvet Elvis latte (white chocolate with caramel) and their white chocolate mocha, both iced. We were impressed with their blend as some coffee shops try to hide their coffee taste with syrup (ahem, starbucks), but this coffee shop has it down packed. Loved the atmosphere with the farmstyle design, and it was pretty busy for a small shop. The staff was friendly and accommodating as we had questions about some of their coffee packages and they answered all of them even if they had a long line. I commend them for their goal as a non-profit organization to end human trafficking and homelessness. Great place for coffee and if you’re ever in the area.
My favorite coffee place in town! I cannot say enough kind words about this place. All their coffee is to DIEEEE for, so delicious !! I love their little sides like bagels and muffins and all that! The baristas are always so kind and chatty! And the atmosphere is so beautiful, it’s a place where I can really focus on my studying. There is plenty of room to study as there are long tables towards the back of the coffee shop. I love love love this place!! Just be wary about parking, I remember first time I had no idea where to enter!
ngl even though they didn’t get my drink right a cappuccino extra dryy tbh nobody does but would expect a roaster to get it right I really like the mission and what this establishment stands for with being a non profit coffee shop giving people opportunities and championing good causes like ending homelessness and human trafficking. On last thing about my drink it really tasted good was really happy with my cappuccino coffee beans are good for sure. I’m coming back just need to weigh in what times I go cause parking was kind of pain. Other than parking I really enjoyed the atmosphere and friendly staff.
Off the bat the vibe is incredibly relaxing. The staff were polite and friendly. The atmosphere and music was calming. Completely unexpected. This is a great place to sit down and enjoy a drink. Plenty of seating and parking. Drinks were very good and affordable. Tons of options!
Good espresso. Tried their cortado. Has a nice smooth mocha flavor to it. Wife also enjoys her caraminilla drink, although a little sweet. Really good bang for the buck. I would visit here again, but would forgo the sweet drinks.
